ProMeier Semi Disposable scope
This scope is a semi disoposable scope. This means that the scope will last you at least 5-10 clinical exams.
The scope is plugged direct in to a laptop with Windows system as it uses the Windows camera app. The plug is a normal USB-C plug like for an Iphone.
The tip of the scope can be moved up and down with the button on the handpiece and you can do images using a button on the handpiece also. Using the biopsy channel you can use biopsy forceps, foreign body forceps, baskets and so on. These are sold seperately.
Relevance for horses: This scope is very relevant if you want a scope that is really easy to bring to the stable compared to a long lasting flexible scope. It can be used for upper airways,
guttoral pouches and for example sinus cases.
Relevance for dogs: This is the standard size flexible scope to use in dogs if you want to retrieve foreing bodies from the stomach of a dog.
